Inaugural Hong Kong Academic Biology Innovation STEAM Education Awards Ceremony Held Grandly

The inaugural Hong Kong Academic Biology Innovation STEAM Education Awards Ceremony is organized by the Asia Science and Innovation Art Education Association, Little Science Superhuman Education Group, and Hong Kong International Biotechnology Expo, with co-organizers including Extreme Bear Education Technology and MediAnn Advertising Media Ltd. The event aims to recognize outstanding contributions from schools, teachers, and students in the fields of biology innovation and STEAM education, encouraging continuous efforts to promote these fields.

This award ceremony is the first large-scale STEAM education awards event in the Hong Kong academic community since the government’s active promotion of STEAM development in primary and secondary schools. It also marks a milestone in advancing local science and technology education. The ceremony invited numerous prestigious scholars from around the world, including Mr. Yu Chang-hai, the founder and chairman of BIOHK, the vice director of Peking University Neuroscience Institute, and the chairman of the Hong Kong Biotechnology Association, as well as Mr. Peng Shanhui, the president of the Asia Science and Innovation Art Education Association. The event attracted over 100 schools' participation, with 200 award-winning students and nearly 600 students and parents from schools and the open group witnessing the event, creating a lively atmosphere.

During the award ceremony, the Asia STEAM Education Association presented a series of prestigious awards, including the Hong Kong Outstanding STEAM Education School Award, the Hong Kong Outstanding Biology Innovation Education School Award, the Hong Kong Most Active STEAM Education School Award, the Hong Kong Outstanding STEAM Principal Leadership Award, the Hong Kong Outstanding STEAM Teacher Award, and the Hong Kong Outstanding STEAM Student Award, to recognize exceptional performances in the education sector and among the younger generation.

Mr. Peng Shanhui, the president of the Asia STEAM Education Association, and Mr. Cai Deli, the founder of Little Science Superhuman Education Group, personally presented awards to 250 award-winning students and expressed heartfelt congratulations for their efforts and achievements. In his speech, Mr. Peng emphasized that this award ceremony not only acknowledges past achievements but also provides powerful encouragement and inspiration for the future development of science and technology education. He pointed out that the success of this event has provided students with richer learning opportunities and expressed hope for more resources and support in the future to encourage students to continue exploring and innovating in the fields of biotechnology and STEAM education.
