On June 26, experts from the Chinese Association of Automation's "Science Popularization Hundred Team" arrived in Hong Kong and attended the "Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Artificial Intelligence Education Exchange Conference." Professor Xiong Zhang and Dr. Liu Xiwei from the "Science Popularization Hundred Team," along with Dr. Huang Binggang, Executive Director of Shenzhen Longhua Future Education Research Institute and Head of the Guangdong Province Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Work Studio, attended the event. The conference also included Professor Hu Jintian from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Chen Jianrong from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Principal Zhi Wenxian from the Tsuen Wan and Outlying Islands District Secondary School Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Federation of Education, and numerous school principals and directors. The founding president and chairperson of the Asian Creative Technology and Arts Education Association, Peng Shanhui, chaired the meeting.

Principal Li Baowen of the Chinese Christian Church Ji Fa Primary School (Yau Tong) expressed gratitude to the experts from the Chinese Association of Automation for sharing their national AI technical experiences, supporting and promoting the development of science, engineering, and AI education in Hong Kong's primary and secondary schools, helping AI education in Hong Kong spread further and wider.

The expert representatives of the "Science Popularization Hundred Team" of the Chinese Association of Automation presented the "Youth Artificial Intelligence Core Literacy Assessment (AICE) Co-construction Demonstration School" plaque to the Chinese Christian Church Ji Fa Primary School (Yau Tong). Afterward, Professor Xiong Zhang and Dr. Liu Xiwei gave expert reports to the attending teachers and students.

On the afternoon of the 26th and 27th, the experts of the Chinese Association of Automation visited several primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, investigated the development of local STEAM and AI education, and shared their insights and suggestions during meetings with the schools. At the end of each exchange, the expert representatives from the Chinese Association of Automation presented the "Youth Artificial Intelligence Core Literacy Assessment (AICE) Co-construction Demonstration School" plaque to several schools. The plaque ceremony was completed by Vice Principal Mei Yin of Chung Sheng School, Vice Principal Liang Shaozhen of Tai Shan Chamber of Commerce Secondary School, Principal Tang Jiaming of Xian Zhu Hui Saint Mother College, Principal Chen Shuyi of Yau Ma Tei Catholic Primary School (Hoi Wong Road), Principal Li Andy of Catholic Lingdao School, Principal Zeng Yingxian of Dongguan Hong Kong Association Fang Shuqian School, Principal Li Deheng of Huangpu Evangelical Primary School, Vice Principal Chen Jialong of Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School, and others as representatives of the schools.

On the morning of the 27th, at Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Ho Ming Wah Bishop's College, Elder Huang Binggang from the "Science Popularization Hundred Team" gave an expert report titled "Insights into the Development of Artificial Intelligence from 'Natural Language Processing'." Elder Huang introduced the concept of Turing tests and early natural language processing knowledge, discussed how Alpha Zero defeated AlphaGo, and showed how machines can achieve or even surpass human top-level performance through self-learning and deep neural networks without human input. Finally, Elder Huang analyzed the progress and principles of OpenAI's GPT and Sora, pointing out that natural language processing is an important branch of AI, encompassing a wide range of technologies and methods aimed at enabling machines to extract information, understand meaning, and generate natural, fluent human language from human speech.

Currently, artificial intelligence has become a strategic technology leading the future technological revolution and industrial transformation. In this context, cooperation and exchanges in AI education between mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau are particularly important and have broad development prospects. It is hoped that in the future, educational departments and institutions in the three regions will strengthen communication and cooperation through joint seminars, exchange visits, teacher training, and other activities, promoting the integration and innovation of educational ideas; through the active promotion of excellent teaching cases and achievements, jointly promoting the popularization and development of AI education, allowing more schools and students to benefit and making greater contributions to cultivating innovative talents in AI fields with future competitiveness.
